Experience abroad

The teacher training in Jena does not require a stay abroad, so it is not uncommon for teacher trainees to critically question the necessity of studying abroad. Time is often short between school internships, subject-specific compulsory courses, laboratory units, didactics, and pedagogical studies. Studying abroad does not usually appear to be a time-efficient way to complete the teacher training degree.
